Bali Diamond Estates is located on the beautiful black sand beach in the village of Keramas (Shampoo in English). The sand in this area is black due to the volcanic rock and sparkles during the day because of the abundant amount of minerals, hence the name Bali Diamond Estates.
Keramas has become well known due to its world class surfing and hosts international surfing competitions yearly. The surfing break is about 200 meters up the beach (to the left) and you can often see a mixture of locals and professionals when the swell is good.
The local area is full of friendly rice farmers and some of the common sites you will see are large groups of ducks being herded down the road, woman picking smooth volcanic rocks from the beach for decorative art, fisherman sitting on the beach waiting for a big catch, and kids playing soccer around sunset.
